CLEAN HAIR POLICY - Arrive with clean, dry hair to your appointment. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A $50 SURCHARGE ADDED TO YOUR FINAL BILL - ( On scalp lightning exempted )

Arrive on time for your appointment, arriving late will result in a shorter appointment, Blonde Poetry reserves the right to cancel or shorten your appointment should there not be enough time to complete the service.

Deposit & PLUS 1

PLEASE NOTE- if you're planning on bringing a plus one, we have a $50 surcharge. Non walking babies under 6 months welcome.

$50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be taken before securing your appointment. This fee can be transferred to another booking or used as store credit given, we have received the required 2-day notice.

The $50 deposit will be deducted from your first appointment at the salon. The balance of your appointment is due on the day of the service.

48 hours is required to change or cancel your appointment. Failure to cancel or reschedule your appointment in the requested time will forfeit your deposit and you will be liable for the full amount of your booked appointment. You agree that failing to the above, we can then charge your card on file for the service you were booked in for to recoup our losses.



1.1. Take notice that, by agreeing to the booking, you are agreeing to be strictly bound by this non-refundable deposit and cancellation policy.

1.2. Whereas we maintain a discretion to refund or not charge you for our services in the event of a cancellation or non-attendance, by continuing with the booking you:

1.2.1. acknowledge that you have been given the opportunity to read and be informed as to terms of this policy; and

1.2.2. agree to be strictly bound by it.


2.1. Upon confirmation of your booking, you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit for the services.

2.2. The deposit is required to secure your booking with us and to allow us to purchase any products that may be used during the services.

2.3. Although we generally hold a discretion to refund part or all of the deposit to you, you otherwise acknowledge and agree that any deposit paid by you: not refundable, unless required under the Australian Consumer Law; and

2.3.2. represents the reasonable administrative costs of our business in relation to the provision of services to you, which are generally not recoverable if you are unwilling or unable to attend an appointment of otherwise cancel.


3.1. In confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you are obtaining the benefit of securing our equipment, facilities and staff for the purpose of your appointment.

3.2. You further acknowledge that any cancellation or non-attendance by you, for whatever reason:

3.2.1. does not limit the benefit you initially received in making the booking.

3.2.2. deprives our salon of the opportunity to schedule an alternative booking with another customer; and

3.2.3. incurs the salon costs which, save for this policy, may not be recoverable.

3.3. If you cancel your appointment, for any reason, less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, you are required to pay the full amount of the booked service fee.

3.4. If you do not attend our salon for your appointment and have not either cancelled or rescheduled (otherwise known as a “no show”), you are nevertheless required to pay the equivalent of 100% of the total costs of the service.

3.5. You acknowledge and agree that your obligation to pay the above (in the event of a cancellation or “no show”) is in no manner to be construed as a penalty and is solely to be viewed as covering the reasonable administrative costs and losses incurred by the salon.

3.6. We further reserve the right to refuse to provide you with our services if you cancel or “no show” to multiple appointments.

Australian Consumer Law

4.1. This policy is to be read in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and nothing in this policy is to be read as seeking to alter the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law.

4.2. If an inconsistency exists between this policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the offending provision will be severed to the extent of that inconsistency in favor of the Australian Consumer Law and the remainder will continue unchanged.


50% Non – refundable deposit will be taken before securing a hair extension appointment. This fee is to help cover some of the costs of ordering your hair. This can be transferred to another day given 2-day notice.

The 50% deposit will be deducted from first installation appointment at the salon. The balance of your appointment is due on the day of the service.

48 hours is required to change your appointment. Failure to reschedule your appointment in the requested time will result in a $100 fee taken from your deposit of the hair.

If you have a change of mind Blonde Poetry has a no refund policy.


There is a NO refund policy here at Blonde Poetry on services. We strive to provide the best possible outcome. If you are unhappy with your service, you have 7 days to contact us, and it will be fixed automatically if it’s a fault by one of our team members. Chanel the salon director will determine whether they’re at fault. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT USE THE AFTERCARE RECOMMENDED BY OUR STAFF YOUR COLOUR OR ANY CHEMICAL SERVICE IS NOT COVERED BY ANY OF OUR POLICIES. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY COLOUR THAT WASHES OUT OR CAUSES DAMAGE.



Due to health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept exchanges for any of our hair care items that have been used or opened. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

For all electrical or hair styling equipment if you believe the item isn't working as intended it's best to call our salon team 0403 225 042 . Our salon team may be able to help guide you about how to use the item correctly.

For all items you’re entitled to a refund, exchange or credit under the following circumstances.

The product is faulty. The product is significantly different to how it has been described. The product is not fit for the purpose you made known to us before we supplied it to you. Our returns policy lasts 30 days. Please note that if 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We may at times require you to send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email or contact you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

We DO NOT refund for change of mind purchases. However, if you have accidently purchased the wrong item and it has not been opened and used then we will endeavor to exchange your purchase with another item.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.

Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us and send your item to: 7/44 Curtin Place , Curtin , 2605 Australia.

Click & Collect We are happy to exchange or refund in store subject to meeting all the required conditions specified in these terms.

Our Click & Collect service is free. A minimum of 1 hour is required to fulfill the order from store after the order is placed online.

Shipping To return your product please mail your product to: 7/44 Curtin Place , Curtin , 2605 Australia.

You may be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for exchanging your item if your request is accepted. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund due to a product fault or defect, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
